DJH Foundation is a Christian-based foundation seeking to advance the work of 501(c)(3) organizations helping to fight against children’s cancer, asthma and diabetes through educational, charitable, scientific, religious and literary methods.
The mission of the DJH Foundation is to provide financial resources to 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to meeting the physical, psychological, social and other special needs of children with cancer, asthma or diabetes regardless of who they are, where they are treated, or where they live; and second, to fund regional, state and national 501(c)(3) organizations that perform research in the prevention and control of these illnesses in children.
The DJH Foundation was created in 2007 by Donald and Joyce Harvey. The Foundation was created to identify and support programs, organizations and institutions which provide new or enhanced opportunities towards the prevention and control of cancer, asthma and diabetes in children. Having a child of their own suffering from asthma motivated the Harveys to dedicate their lives to helping families dealing with similar illnesses.
